New York, New York! Part II

I am currently doing my Masters of Fine Arts at Parsons The New School for Design, in Manhattan. I have an amazing studio, great professors and awesome new friends. Life is good. I may not be updating this blog very often, but things are brewing!

Solo Show at Board of Directors

My show at Board of Directors gallery, the opening was packed, sweaty and full of nice faces. I don't think I could have asked for more.

Francis Bacon. ...mmmmmmm...

I went to the Bacon show at the Met... it was amazing.

I've been working on a few new large pieces. Its been so great to be around so many other working artists and see how different our approaches are. I'm learning a LOT.

New York, NEW YORK!

So far the experience of being in New York has been Awesommmme! I love the studio, the people, the time, the city. I've had lots of coffees, lots of brainstorming days, and lots of hours drawing in the studio... that is really all I have been doing. I will post pictures here and there of what I'm up to. When I get back to the city I have a show lined up at Board of Directors in early August, so I'll definitely post more details when it gets closer.
